I held one the other day and found myself hovering over my piggy bank later that night with a hatchet,,, priced above $500 prolly $600 by the time till tape floats to the floor,,,, worth it? What say ye,,,,,

I have the su-22. Love it! Easy to clean, shoots as accurate as my mossy 715T. When you add the AR pistol grip, it feels even better. However if you hate plastic, you should hate this gun. The funny thing is when I posted so many positive comments on the mossy, people flamed me about it being plastic and the it's a toy and not a REAL gun. However the su is plastic too and few say bad things about it.
Good news is the trigger is easy to mod, the gun folds and the BD mags work well.
I just bought the ar-15 tower adapter and am180 drum mag, when I get it running I will post vids.
From what I hear, few have them in Canada.

Thanks, what happens with the mag when its folded? Also the one I held when folded didn t lock the barrel into the notch, the rail under the hand guard was blocking it, is this typical? Two questions, thanks all.

The barrel only locks on the su16. The su22 has the same stock. Fyi, with the pistol grip it folds even less. The mag also doesn't fit well either. It's ment for the ar-15 mags not the 22 mags.

I love my SU22.
its my favourite and now my only 22lr in my stable.
You can put a mag in the stock folded you just have to put the mag in horizontal not vertical.
Well worth the money. Infact my buddy just bought one after trying mine once. Really a very well made rifle.

Totally agree, the only downfall is you cant change barrels, I'd love to swap a plr barrel to make it even lighter but still non-restricted. However from what I've read on ktog, it's not doable.
I'm waiting to see how it handles 275 round drum.

I love mine also, I bought it for the folding option specifically. When I pulled it out of the box, I noticed the stock hit the bottom of the fore grip, not allowing the stock to clip on the barrel. I thought " that's a load of brown bananas!" This was unacceptable to me, so I removed the fore grip and milled 2 notches off the bottom rail. It now fully folds up and locks onto the barrel.
