Hey guys I am getting parts together for a SPR and am trying to decide on a free floating forestock, I know that with the craziness going on down South this discussion is not very realistic but when things slow down and become available again I would like to have decided on one.

I would like something that is modular and free floating, with the rail on top. Don't really need one on the bottom except for a way to mount a bi pod. I really like how the Noveski NSR looks and its features, what other tubes are like it?

Troy has the TRX extreme and alpha, MI has the Gen II SS is there anything else in this class?
that BCM rail on the Jack Carbine looks interesting but I dont know if it is sold seperately.

The BCM rail on the Jack is made by Geissele Automatics. No word on if it will be avail separately (not that I've heard) or how much.

The Geissele rail is heavy compare to Noveske NSR or the Rainer Arms (samson) rail. If weight is not a problem, geissele rail is pretty high quality.

Why not go with the NSR if you like it's looks/features? I have one on a 7.5" AR and it looks bad ass in addition to being light as hell, and Armtac actually has the NSR accessories last time I checked.

I have shot the jack upper, the rail is super nice. You can get the longer version of that rail by itself in the states.(which is probably what you want for a SPR assuming you are going with a 18+ inch barrel)

I personally have the alpha on my "spr" rifle, I wouldn't trade it for anything.

is there anything else in this class?

Knights URX 3 which we have in stock. They are very lightweight.

We did have some of the Rainier rails in stock which are also lightweight and have more on order.

Go with the nsr if you can find it.
As you can see in this pic, it's slimmer than every other forearm, and thus has a very natural "pointable" feel. That's a noveske lightweight profile barrel for reference.
I like it more than any of the troy, urx 3's, etc.
And I don't have particularly small hands or anything.
