I have been using iSnipe for a couple years now and like the program. Recently I decided to splurge and purchase the engine upgrade.

Since I have done so, when ever I enter a wind variable it computes it at what ever distance the rifle is zeroed.

When I turn off the engine it computes it from the firing line as it should.

These are two screen shots to show what I mean.

First one. Engine is off and proper windage.

Second. Engine is on and windage zeroed at 200 yard line.

Does any one know if it is supposed to do this? Or how to get it to calculate the windage properly? I'm hoping its just a setting that I haven't found yet!

Thanks for any help

I don't use Isnipe, but it makes sense to me that it would correct the wind from your 200 yard zero just like in your second example. After all that is where your rifle is "zeroed"

It would help but I doubt every time I go to the range the wind will be blowing from the same direction at the same speed. :p

If you are zeroed at 200 it is telling you what corrections you need to make from your 200 yard zero. It is up to you to enter the correct conditions that you are shooting in each time you go out.

The thing is my gun is zeroed at 200 with no wind. With the upgrade engine turned off, I enter in a wind value of 15km/h at 90 degrees and it gives me an adjustment of 2 MOA to be on target at 200 yards.

If i run the program with the upgrade turned on and enter the same wind value it always spits out 0 MOA wind adjustment at 200 yards. I change the wind to 20 km/h and I still get 0 MOA at 200 yards.

This just does not make any sence to me.

Mine does the same thing and I think it's a problem.
Hope it gets fixed.
Love the people who comment on this and know nothing about it.
If your just going to guess what the fix or problem is don't comment.

I just noticed the same thing, is there any update on this? Mine is giving me weird numbers for everything below my 100yd zero as well, both with the upgrade turn on and off. -1.11 drop at 10yds? That doesn't sound right to me somehow.

its not 1.11" of drop, its your impact will be 1.1" below point of aim due to your scope over bore height

The reply I received from ISnipe was less then helpful. It basically read that yes it is a problem, but the don't know when it will be fixed. They blamed it on the hoops they have jump through with apple to send out an update. Sounds like they have abandoned their product.
