Any one wanting a Spanish destroyer in 9mm there is one at The Outdoorsman in Medicine Hat, 250$. I don't know if that's good or bad for a price. Looks to be in not bad shape.

Probably a good price. One of our local shops has one for $500 asking.

Epps has Destroyer magazines.

I'm using Winchester 9x23 brass. It is only .004" short for the Largo chamber.

Astra 400s and Destroyers don't know the difference..... AND you can GET IT!

Destroyers are a blast!

LOVE that little logo on the Receiver ring: a WWI destroyer, of course.

Hope this helps.

I have one that I used to shoot quite a bit. It was my cast bullet plinker until replaced by a non restricted M1 carbine. Brass was a bit of an issue with mine. Starline 9 mm Largo was a little too short for my chamber. Extractor wouldn't engage extractor groove and cases seated too deep to fire once in a while. Caes need to be .910 long to work in my rifle. I found a good supply of 9 mm Win Mag which have worked fine when shortened to the correct length. Without checking their length 9x23 would probably not work in my rifle either. I've always had a fear of breaking my extractor as well.

Nice little rifles. Mine is well made, Fun and cheap to shoot especially with cast. Depending on condition I think $250 is a buy. Maybe gone by now??

I would like to respectfully point out that the one for $500 does come with 100 rounds of ammo, 5 extra magazines in the correct leather pouch and is in excellent condition. It came from my Father's estate and I almost kept it myself.

I use .38 super in mine. Case is the same length. Only difference being the diameter of the rim. Gunsmith simply enlarged the bolt face a tiny bit and no need to do anything else.

Sorry, I wasn't aware that particular one came with all those extras.

Just commenting on the $250 asking for the one mentioned in this thread topic.
