Glock 17 Gen 4

Hello all, I'm from Ontario Canada, new to the Site and have a question that has probably been asked before but can't find the answer. I am purchasing a Glock 17 G4 and I'm wondering what it comes with out if the box(black plastic case!). Any help would be appreciated. Eg. Trigger lock, mags, etc. Thank you.

Probaly the same as most pistols
2 or 3 mags
Cleaning brush
Cable lock
Casings
Documentation and other paper crap
At least thats what 90% of mine came with

Lock, 3 magazines, spent test fire casing, operations manual, accesories catalog, cleaning brush and rod. I think that covers it.

Thank you very much. One more question, is the cable lock good to use as far as transporting or do I also need a trigger lock as far as what I am required to do by law.

As far as I am aware, any type of locking device that renders the restricted firearm inoperable is acceptable. Case in point would be an FS2000, you HAVE to use a cable lock through the mag well to lock it as there is no real practical way to trigger lock it.

Excellent choice for a first pistol, it'll take you pretty much as far as you can go.

You also need to lock the pistol case.
The case that glock gives you does not allow you to lock it with a lock.
You will most likely need a different case.

Just bought a glock 22 gen 4 a couple days ago. Couldnt bring it home as i am still waiting for my license in the mail. The case also comes with speedloader, I guess most dont use them. I am a little nervous that maybe I should have started with a 9mm as well. Didn't realize the .40 had such a "snappy" reputation. Enjoy your G17 brother. Going to try a 9mm jericho 941 next.
