Fair enoughmakes sense to me, just thought I'd check since LAR mags are still readily available and at a reasonable price. I'm sire we'll see reasonably priced stock of PMAGS one day, may not be right away, but hopefully soon. I noticed P&D enterprises had PMAGs for $29 recently, might not hurt to see if they still have a couple kicking around. Worth a shot anyway.
G'luck in your search, and happy shooting![]()
Cheers
I heard about this today too. Just out of curiousty let's say the bill passes and high capacity mags get limited to 10 rounds in the US are we going to see the same thing that's happened with pmags happen to lar-15's up here?
Hard to say, but I think it's safe to assume that if the magazine capacity bill passes PMAGs may become an endangered species...
Honest? You think Magpul will lose a source of income like that? I think what you would see is the same as when a number of states lowered the capacity of pistol mags to 10 rds. Most manufacturers came out with state legal mags which were now also legal up here. We may actually end up with p mags that we can import without modification. Magpul will adapt to whatever happens.
Just FYI, most suppliers and distributors in the US have ceased taking new dealer orders. And dealers have started following suit with new orders until existing pre-orders and backorders have been filled first. Oh, and they tabled a bill to ban high capacity magazines today. Gonna be interesting...
