I plan to build a ruger 10 22 for target shooting I want a tack driver. I am wondering who makes the best after market barrels, I am thinking a Dlask barrel but am curious to know everyone experience with after market barrels. Would love to be able to shoot one hole groups at 40 or 50 yards with match grade amo.

You do realize that any barrel longer than 16" give or take is a waste for a rimfire as all potential powder burn/pressure has been generated within the first 16" inches. That being said, a shorter barrel is stiffer, which offers less barrel whip and more consistent shots.

Most go to the longer barrels for quiet shooting... if you have ever tried a 28" you will know what I am talking about... LR harmonics are a much smaller issue than barrel/crown quality... that said, I tend to go with barrels on the shorter side... I have used VQ, GM, KIDD, ERS, RT, Tac Sol, WP, Mossberg and Dlask and you can potentially get a great barrel with any of them... my last few builds have been using Dlask barrels and they have proven to be excellent... you certainly would not regret buying one... the added bonus is the money stays in our economy from manufacture to end user (other than the blank of course).
Mystic Precision will bring Shilen barrels in, I bought mine from Jerry. The only limiting factor is they will not make one shorter than 16" due to US laws. This is the rifle the barrel went onto:
