Looking to upgrade my bottom metal on a Rem 700 SPS in .223. Currently in a HS Precision stock. I've been looking at Wyatt Outdoors, CDI Precision and Badger Ordnance so far I was just looking for some input on any experience with these products which is a superior product (CDI is by far the cheapest). Also wondering if there are any other manufactures I should be looking into.

Thanks Guys,

I just went through a lot of research and phone calls about the very same thing. I seems that none of the US companies will ship to Canada, and the local suppliers want way too much money up here. Atlas is the way to go and they ship direct to Canada. I paid $145 shipped for my recent bottom metal purchase. That's about 65% of the price of the next cheapest option here in Canada, and the quality is supposedly up there with the best of them. Atlas includes two different lengths of mag release lever in their kit.

Give Ed Begg a call, he's well known and is on the board, I use his Savage Btm metal and it's "top shelf"
Good Luck,Ed's in BC BTW.

Yep, just finished installing an Atlas on my R700 S/A.

It's a Badger M5 inlet. Major stock inletting required on a BDL. No receiver mods, other than to shave down that mag box screw hole fixture a little bit.

Atlas doesn't sell the mags. I got mine from Wolverine.

Who's the dealer for atlasworxs in Calgary????

That bottom metal is EXACTLY what I've been looking for!!!!!! Looks like the dremel is getting a workout this spring. ;)

I contacted atlas on the weekend and he said that it's not exactly the same as a badger, for those of you that might be thinking about ordering a stock to use with this bottom metal.

Throw up some pics if you happened to document the process, please. The Atlas BM sounds like a real good alternative for Canucks.

I'll snap some more post-op pics, but here's the finished product:
