9mm 1911 recommendations?

I am in the market for a new 9mm - likely in a 1911 platform. I have been researching quite a bit on the Sigs, and Kimber, but seem to be drawn more to the Sigs based on negative kimber reviews. I am also open to others - any recommendations out there from 9mm 1911 owners? Thanks.

What the what?! Wonder what the release date will be on these. I think they got announced during SHOT 2012 but never reached the market and supposedly going to start shipping sometime this summer?

The STI Trojan is by far the best. I got a Rock Island Armory in 9mm and sold it because it couldn't touch my STI.
