The scope did show up with an issue (looks as though its still functional but time will tell) but the seller did make things right very quickly (Thanks again).

I cant wait to try this set up out!

Love my FV-SR! Which Hawke Varmint are you going for? I've been trying to decide on which on to get.

I have the 3-12, 4-16 and 6-24... for the FV-SR I would recommend the 3-12 minimum, I think I am gonna swap my FV-SR's 3-12 with a 4-16... I built it for a 0-50 m gun though.

Mine was shooting bug holes at fifty yards then I took it out of the tacticool stock to play with the trigger and forgot to take note of the action screw tightness. Sorry for the offtopic just wondering if anyone with tacticool knows thier action screw tightness?

14# back, 12# front... works best in most of our guns after alot of messing around with a torque wrench.

I feel your joy. Mine loves CCI. Im hunting for a nox of CCI Quiets. Have you tried these yet? Ive heard they are great with a MKii.

I have shot two bricks of Quiets... mostly through the FV-SR, and they seriously SUCK at 50 yards... minute of grouse (MOG) head at 25... and MOG is what I want them for from 10-30 yards.

The Hawke Varmint scopes are very nice on rimfires... I have a number of them... this is a 3-12 on my FV-SR;

Depends on the gun. Mine shoots best at 18 inch lbs front and 9 inch lbs rear.

I have the fat wrench ala o but how do you tell how much is a pound since it goes in bigger increment? Is there a trick?

No trick the likes go up in increment of 5 so divide the space by 5 parts or there abouts. not really a science to it. try a bunch and see what happens. I have settled on 18/9 for all mine and does what I need it to do. Im not looking for one hole groups though. Moa is fine with me. If I can hit a gopher thats pretty good for me

Awesome looking rifle. Same stock on mine.
I shot a bunch so the quiets form my fvsr and it sucks with them. In my cil171 I can pick off shotgun hulls 9 out of 10 times at 50 yards with them. Granted I found the hold over is ~10 inches.
Also I ran some over a chrony with the fvsr and they are from 600-730fps in mine

KIM! the anticipation has built up enough already haha
Can we has pics now? :)
I ran into a little problem:( The scope I have on there is a 30mm tube and I don't have any rings for the 1" that I want to use:confused:
I will rectify ASAP:D Oh yeah, it has a mate that needs a good home if anybody is interested.
