Demand has greatly exceeded supply from day one. Dealers wait months to get an order in, they usually don't receive enough to cover their back orders. If they do, they don't remain in stock for more than a few days before the extras are sold. You have to watch constantly for word that a dealer has some, then act fast. This situation is unlikely to improve within the next year or two.
the export permit only allows for 50 rifles at time, shipment comes in every 4-6 months and they are spread out amongst more than few dealers across the country, if you want a brand new one put your name down with a dealer, you will get it eventually. but if you really want one now do a search in EE anyone time there are at least 2 for sale, because the design just isn't the right fit for every body.

Wolverine informed me that the preorders are in excess of 2 years right now and they aren't accepting anymore until Kel Tec can step up production which they said will not happen any time soon with the current situation in the US.
So you want a non restricted black rifle in .308? I suggest you hop on a XCR-M pretty quick as the availability is better for now. But supply of any US built firearm will be pretty slim in the very near future from the way things are looking in the US.
