What glass is your go to rimfire rifle wearing?

I sold this combo recently but the T/C R-55 Benchmark had a Weaver T36 on it..great scope on a great rifle

Not looking to hijack this thread but my Marlin model 60 22LR has a cheapo 32mm Bushnell on it and I don't care for it. Eye relief is one issue and overall quality.

I would like to get a little better rimfire scope for target shooting but I'm not looking for super long range supremacy. 50 yrd. parallax it appears is the norm.

Any suggestions in the under $250 range and it has to be in matte silver.

I've been considering Nikon, Weaver, Mueller, Simmons, etc.

Ziess, Leupold, Vortex and CleaRidge don't seem to have a silver version and they're pretty pricey.

The Nikon Prostaff 3-9x40 looks interesting at a reasonable price, but so does Mueller's scopes.

Nice choice... Also have a 'few'... quite please with them.

My go-to 22lr (a Browning M52) is wearing a and older Vari-x iii 3.5x10 AO. Keep on telling myself that I should probably get something a little smaller... but it's been on there for close to 20 years, so I doubt it will ever happen ;)
 
The CZ 452 American is sporting an older Bushnell 6-18x40AO and I have no problem saying
this gal is a tack driver.
Yoyo Davy kit on the trigger........ : )



The top one in the next photo is sporting a Tasco World Class 4-16x40AO.
Brownind T-Bolt.
I am almost certain this T-Bolt could be as accurate as the CZ if I could replicate
the trigger pull of it.
Nice little rifle to shoot with otherwise.



The BL-22 in the middle is sporting a buggie scope aka Scorpion 4X Marksman.
I find the cross hairs a bit too thick for my eyes.
The youngsters do a better job on the groups than me with their fresh eyes.



And I sure can't leave out one of my old time favorite plinksters......

New Sightron S1 3-9x40RF.
I do believe this is going to be a nice scope.
It sure has all the makings to be.
Nice, crisp, clear and the adjusting ring doesn't go below the 9-3 o'clock twist
so it misses the hammer.
Comes with some decent scope flip covers too. Not like the crappy Butler Creek
ones. These are more pliable, softer with flip tabs on either side.
Makes for good lefties.......aye........Cheezie........ : )

My gopher popping scope is a Vortex crossfire 2. 4-12x50 AO BDC.
My Paper popping scope is a Vortex Viper 6.5-20x50 AO BDC.

I think the Crossfire 2 is a great deal for around 200$ But the Viper and its 30mm tube is a much nicer scope.
 
CZ 455 (22lr and 17hmr) wears a Vortex Viper 4-12x40 with side focus. Nice range, nice view, not too heavy at 16 ounces, and most of all, tough as nails to survive winter excursions getting rattled around in the back of a kamotiq (wood sled) behind my snowmobile.

Having said that, Ruger 10/22 had a Mueller APV that fell apart in said sled. Just stuck on a Simmons .22 Mag 4x and quite surprised by the quality of the view and easiness of the view. So far holding up in the back of the sled :)
 
just like kamlloky ive got an older made in japan bushnell trophy 6-18X40 with the target turrents - nice scope easy as claer and bright as my friends 3200
