AR 180b

They are no longer being made by Armalite. Until they begin production again, no one will have stock. Check out the EE, they pop up there with inflated prices from time to time.

They used to be affordable, but for the price that they are now going for on EE, you would be WAY better off with something else.

Got one off the EE a while back for a reasonable price but now they are WAY too much. 1800 dollars + for what was created to be a budget option for the AR15. I LOVE mine it shoots like a house on fire and wouldn't sell it for the world but in terms of another NR black rifle i'd be looking for an xcr which IMO is a better version of the 180. Although I want a 2nd 180 due to all the BS in the states currently as a "parts" (realistically a replacement) should anything go south with mine but I can't justify the price. Good gun though

That was US marketing .
The reason they sell for more than a AR15 here is because they are Non Restricted

I remember not too long ago they were selling used for just over $1100 on the EE.

Supply and demand.

The 180b is an awesome rifle, exactly as described, a budget AR-15, with a plastic lower instead of the conventional AR lower. Never had a bobble from any I have tried.

If they were still <$1500 I would consider one, but at the current price you are nearing on XCR territory, and you get a more refined rifle for the money, you just need to budget in a few 5 gallon buckets of loctite per year.

:D

Whoops, may have mixed up some words there, thanks. Dumb as I have worked on them before and my good friend owns one that we shoot often.

Fixed it in my post.

Better go to bed soon. :p

When it's ready.

you really should get on that or you may miss the boat.
Lots of "want" for that item, so i know of a bunch of people working on a project like that, would be sad to see you as first loser of a project you started long ago.
But its happend to me a few times due to lack of funds for a project thats as big a this.
