With everything going on in the USA what have you been doing, and what have you been buying and why?

1) I have bought some additional PMAGS at pretty much the going rate from retailers prior to the "boom". I think these will be good investments down the road as I think supply will be very limited, if we ever see them again. Wish I had a crystal ball. Buying additional hi cap pinned mags for each of my firearms as well. 1-2 additional for each in additional to what I have already

2) 223/556 ammo, I think the deal on the Norc stuff is pretty good and heard its a limited supply item. You cant go wrong.

3) AR15 parts - fearing a drout Im stocking up on extra wear parts to keep my AR running. If something breaks how long could it be before we can get the parts...

Donate too the GOA down South and the dry up will not last that long....

Personally I own enough of everything minus 1 BCG that I need for DI gun, I sold 2 BCG prior to the craze which I should not have done really, but as they say I was expecting things to go South in a few months down the road and not now.

Ammunition I am not concerned with for I have enough and in truth Europe will provide us what we need anyways in the future....More Ruag please....lol

Mags
Well I have more than enough....To last me the next 30 years...

As for AR's well I'm counting on NEA to continue to improve and a few other manufactures as well to fill the void in the future anyways if things get worse in a permanent nature...

It would be nice if Colt Canada would just open up to the Canadian market and then I would be in heaven, although seriously missing KAC and the other US companies....anybody have DD BCG for sale????

I traded away my Colt LE6920 for some pistols I didn't really want at the end of November thinking I could get another from irunguns.us easily enough in January. Ooops.

I haven't bothered with stocking up mags or small parts. They weren't rare during the last AWB, I don't see why things would change.

Well I managed to grab a US made stripped upper and lower as things were getting dicey... Need a few more parts for my next AR build... On the back order list on brownells for an LPK and gas tube... I'm good on ammo, and have a few spare parts...

During the last black rifle crisis were LPK's and small parts also hard to get?

I bought a new DD rifle and a case of norc ammo from can am. I would have liked a few more pmags than the two it came with but I was too late for that. Between work being very busy and having a young family I don't get to the range much so what I have now should last until the drought is over, I think.

Just bought a case of Norc from SFRC. Already have 2 AR's and an XCR and don't shoot much so that outta last me a good while. Sold some PMags because at their current value I couldn't justify having a drawer full of them and never using them - I prefer the LAR mags for my own use and I've got plenty of them too.

I sold my last AR about 5 years ago. I took this recent craze as a sign that if I want one to play with this year, I'd better get moving... so I bought one from Arms East.

Then an optic, some mags, and a couple cases of Norc ammo from CanAm.

Got a stripped lower from Saskatoon gunworks and am in the process of buying a bunch of spare parts. That's it, nothing crazy.

Reloading supplies. Have a few AR's so can scavenge parts from one to another if need be. More worried about ACR parts so will pick some of those up.

The Norc ammo is one hell of a deal. My guess is it can't be sold in the US so unless the chinese stop making it I am sure we will continue to see lots of it.

Gen III PMAGS - hate you!!! lol

I remember seeing something about the Norinco ammo supply going to run out. If they have to make more...its going to cost more.
The stuff we are getting cheap now is surplus.
USA may not get Chinese ammo but there increased production will drive up brass, lead, etc prices. This will drive up the cost of the Norc ammo.

Rumour has it that this stuff is surplus to some deals that fell through on Norinco. I can't confirm that though. That said, if there's one thing to be said about the Chinese it's that they're more than willing to make whatever you need if you got the money.
