A dealer in Arizona has put a complete P7K3 set on gunbroker.com... and the reserve is $3,700
Be still my beating heart... I wish the laws were different in this country
(For those that don't know... this gun can never be imported to Canada as the barrels are 96.5mm/3.8", and one of them is .32ACP anyway, so you'd have to mangle the hell out of the set to meet our early 1990's era Liberal Party of Canada legal regime).
Still... it is nice to see the original complete set up for sale somewhere. Somebody in the U.S. is going to be a VERY happy camper when this is delivered to their door (or... make that FFL).
Also, for those that don't know, a complete P7K3 set with all the components, box, papers, etc. is the Holy Grail of HOLY GRAILS in the world of P7 collecting. Incredibly rare. Virtually never seen for sale.... and this guy only wants $3,700 for the whole thing!!!
The description on gunbroker:
This is the only HK P7K3 set I've seen that has all three (3) available calibers (9mm short, 7.65mm, and .22 cal LR) together in one collection. And never in like new/unfired condition. I bought this set as a collector's set (NIB) over twenty years ago. This set is the best and most unusual piece of my HK P7 collection. Since I purchased the set, the frame and slides have been wrapped in a shock, stored along with the magazines and extra bbls inside a Browning/Pelican type hard case, and locked in my safe. The set is unfired, in like new condition, with no rack wear. It comes with two (2) like new HK magazines in each caliber, a loose like new unfired 7.65mm bbl, a loose like new unfired .22 cal LR bbl (the 9mm short bbl is attached to the pistol), the original HK owner's manual, the original HK P7K3 9mm short/7.65mm box, the original HK AT-P7K3 .22cal LR box, a like new unfired HK P7K3 .22 cal LR slide, and the original bbl changing tool. This set is rare, rare, rare and would be the center of any HK P7 collection. If you have any questions, ask them before bidding. Any bidders with a rating lower than B+ or who are unrated need to email me before bidding. It's your responsibility to know whether this firearm is legal in your state. I won't ship to states where this firearm is prohibited by law. A signed-in-ink copy of your dealers FFL must be received prior to shipment of the pistol. The firearm will only be sent to an active FFL license holder. A shipping/insurance credit of up to $150 is included in the purchase price. The Buyer is responsible for any additional shipping/insurance costs over the $150 shipping/insurance allowance. The firearm will be shipped UPS 2nd Day Air in a hard-case supplied by the Seller with insurance that covers the purchase price of the pistol. The firearm will not be shipped until payment-in-full has been received, the funds have cleared my bank, and a signed-in-ink copy of the dealer's FFL is received. I accept cashier's checks, USPS Money Orders, or bank transfers. I'll consider trading for a NIB FN SCAR 17. Any failure by the Buyer to communicate with the Seller or to forward funds, in a timely manner, will result in revocation of sale. This is a private sale. Seller will not collect sales taxes.
