This one just came in. Not the best photos. Thought everyone might like to see it before it heads out to a new owner. Bright polish Nickel and a gold cylinder:

Gold cylinder? Hell, I find even polished nickel to be a bit too much BLING! for most days. A gold cylinder is simply WAY over the top for ANY day.

What did George Patton say? Only a New Orlean's pimp..............that was referring to pearl grips, but i'm pretty sure he'd have tossed it at gold cylinders too. Oh well, lot's of money can't buy taste,....on the other hand, each to their own, as long as the new owner is happy he probably has a nice revolver under all that bling.

That he did, when a reporter interviewing him mistook the ivory grips on his handguns for pearl. Each to their own I guess but to me that Colt, to quote a comment from The Big Bang Theory show, "looks like something Elton John would have for protection on a ride through the everglades".
