Now this is interesting. I found a link to this Ammoland.com article while looking for something else. I did a search and didn't find any CGN posts so it may be new information. (For those who don't know, Loc. Snap Shots has been the warranty and repair centre for Ruger for a long time.)

Taurus Firearms
MIAMI --(Ammoland.com)- Taurus, the global leader in revolver manufacturing, is excited to publicly announce their new Canadian Warranty Center, Location Snap Shots, Inc. headquartered in Sainte-Martine, Quebec.

As Taurus continues to develop their distribution channels and world-class customer relations throughout North America, they have resourced Location Snap Shots to service the growing Canadian shooting community effective January 2013.

This recent partnership reflects the continuing improvement process being implemented within the Taurus organization.

Director of Sales, Scott Rothenberg states, “As we expand our product distribution channels throughout the United States and Canada, providing an integrated support system before, during and after the sale is vital to the success of the company. Our relationship with a highly respected and qualified partner such as location Snap Shots will further benefit our customers, dealers and distributors.”

Since taking the helm just over a year ago, CEO and President, Mark Kresser has been focused on growing the Taurus family of firearms into a preeminent leader through innovative design, high quality products and industry-leading customer service.

“Taurus has recruited a team of customer-focused, forward thinking individuals to elevate the company to a new level of commitment with its industry partners and consumers,” states Kresser. “Aligning with Location Snap Shots in the Canadian market is another step in reaching our goal of ensuring quality and commitment beyond the sale.”

Might actually buy one now................

Might...........

Well my SS Raging Judge Magnum is just about the most fun I've had at the range with a Handgun :)

This is coming from a guy that has owned more than a few "stupid" range toys: like a IMI 44MAG Desert Eagle, MRI 45-70 BFR and a S&W 460V. While all had their charm the RJM is really another level of range toy.

That's not slagging the former firearms, it's just such an over the top item. Makes me giggle like a 6yr old :D

Hopefully they will bring in some Rossi parts as well......I've dealt with Snapshot for some Ruger parts and while the communication was a bit poor at times and the whole process took some time I did eventually get the parts I needed.

Ummmmmmmm Snap Shots?! Really?!

Snap Shots is (was?) the Warranty center for Ruger-Canada.
Isn't this in conflict? Kinda like saying Dodge-Canada is the GM-Canada warranty repair center.

I don't see a problem.

Snapshots does not own or manufacture Ruger, just services them.

Same like car or tv repair centres, most do more than one make.

Cheers,
Dan

I just paid Snap Shot $20 for 4 mini screws for my ruger.....Talk about face palm.
They also never returned my email so I had to call
But they are the only folks in Canada, and only other place that carrier them was Ruger factory direct who won't ship to Canada, they deferred me to SnapShot.

But none the less, will see how the packaging / delivery comes for the premium I paid :p
