Need a Bolt Carrier Group....anyone know a store that has them in?

Could any of the AR 15 quality experts on here ,please explain in factual detail ( not your expert opinion) to me, what is the diff between an NEA fa BCG and a coveted BCM or DD. version ???

You need to start a separate thread to ask why nea quality control is so bad. Sorry, I mean what the difference is between the high end companies like DD or BCM and nea

i own a couple NEA BCG's , the BCG's i have work, no issues.
ive compared them (quickly) to a spikes BCG (no clue how they are ranked) but it was a chrome one.
the spikes has a smother finish and looks nicer, but in the end of the day if the both work and function reliably then where is the added value?

there has been a few well known bolt lugs that broke on the NEA bcg's, however from what i read they were all from the 2011 production run and mine are both 2012.
the earlier bcg's from NEA were outsourced and they did not hide that fact (i think i remember reading they were bough by some of the shops through the 3rd party and then the shops added them to the rifles, so nea didnt even pick the supplier..but cant remember exactly, in sure someone else will remember if this was true or not)

i was going to get a different brand bcg but if you have something that works and works well, why replace it if you arent going to gain anything?
also, everything is sold out so take what you can get if you need it, and if you can get a spare go for it.
i am planing on getting chrome bolts for the carrier groups eventually just for ease of cleaning.

if you want a different brand ACE tactical had some in stock...good chance of being sold out.
