Magazines For CZ Rifles

Hi all. I apologize in advance if I am posting this in the wrong section.

I have been going insane looking for magazines for my CZ 452 rifle. Specifically, I am looking for a 5-shot .22LR steel magazine (CZ Part #12001), and a Single Shot Adapter (CZ Part #12005). I have found a few places in the US that carry these, but no one seems to ship magazines to Canada. I did manage to contact someone from CZ directly, but the shipping is more than the product to have it shipped overseas.

Has anyone dealt with this before? Does anyone know if I have any other options?

call batte river sports in Stettler AB they had some metal mags for your CZ last I checked. ANY gun shop that sells CZ's rifles CAN order the mags you are after, if they will is another matter. the two CZ suppliers in the country have lots in stock
 
I found magazines at Reliable Gun and Italian sporting goods in Vancouver.
I bought my single shot adapter from Denny (ajakubec@aol.com). He is in California but mails regular post and was best buy at the time. He has most parts for Brno rifles, which also fit the CZ 452, including magazines.

niacbob - I contacted Denny earlier and he responded fairly quickly. He has what I'm looking for, including what he claims is a 5 round steel magazine with a flush fit.

Too bad I was looking forward to really sticking it too you for a couple old BRNO 5 and 10 rounders I have. FS
 
You would not go wrong dealing with Denny in California. A real old school gentleman. I have bought several items from him, he shipped immediately before I could get a payment to him. Not too many trusting souls like that on the internet!
 
Denny is an absolute pleasure to deal with. Thank you once again for the info, niacbob.

I just ordered a 5 round metal magazine with flush bottom, a single shot adapter, and a metal magazine well from him. I can't wait until I actually receive them. :dancingbanana:

I paid for some sight hoods I never got. He said he sent them twice. Never had an issue all right. I don't trust to ever buy from him again whether it was his fault or not that I never got them.

Thanks for the info, but that's the first negative thing I have heard about his business. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.
