For his safetyhe should be able to fire that many rounds with only one pull of the trigger.
You don't have to be that old to remember when you could do that with an 20" AR and regular mags out in a field.

My mistake.
I thought I had seen a laser painting the farther target (in the correct lane), but no matter how many times I watched it, I could have sworn I saw holes appearing on the nearer (righthand) target. In fact I still do see holes appearing and the target gently bobbing. My cause to voice a concern would be based on the sidewalls being your backstop if it was x-lane shooting.
Slightly embarassed now. I think I'll swap my Range Nazi hat out for a dunce cap for a minute and sit in the corner polishing the buttons...
