The hand guards just click onto the rails. Best $9 I spent.

I epoxied the A 2 hand guards same with the butt stock .the hard part was to do so the gun can still be taking down .

Great job guys!!! You wouldn't believe how many people told me that the mossy was a POS plastic, or in a nice way telling me it's a plastic toy. Funny how a year after there are a lot more on the mossy bandwagon. Luckaly I bought 6 extra 25 round mags before the popularity grew. Sold both my guns used at MSRP. I love the mossy except when having to clean it.
I upgraded to an SU-22. Yep it's still plastic and 5lbs but remove one pin like the ar-15 and it splits apart for cleaning.
