How Expensive Will PMAGs Get in 2013?

I believe that long term there will be no issues in getting Magpul 5/30 magazines in Canada.
As any of us who have purchased new Magpul magazines have noticed the bags that the mags have come in are cut open to pin the magazines after they have entered the country then they are resealed.

You or I cannot import 30 round magazines but Gravel Agency is authorized to sell to the military and police hence they can bring them in then pin them to 5 rounds as they have been doing all along.

I heard two (2) went for $500. Wasn't me, as I only had the one - and it was gifted out along with 6 Beowulf dummy rounds. Yes you cynics - gifted. I also gave a bunch of stuff on the "Pay-It-Forward" thread (ammo, etc.) not to mention a bunch of free Magpul stuff over the summer as well. Some of you have really, really short memories...

Ugh... glad I got some when I got my beowulf upper. I'm kicking myself for not getting 10. Armtac should only sell beowulf mags to people who have the upper.

Having said that, Im sure it'll drop in demand, and the price will drop down again.

And yeah what majority is saying, it's a fear mongering tactic and there's no way they won't be available again.

lol, people are talking like we will never see pmags again. If there was that big of a demand for mags Magpul would build another factory. This is just a spike in sales, and all gun companies are loving it. Things will be back to sane in another 6-12 months. In the meantime, I can be happy with the 10 AR mags I got.

Then again, I haven't seen the new Red Dawn movie yet. So I might get the desire to stockpile before the commies invade.

There is a small mountain of .223 at WHS and Cabela's here in Saskatoon, quality .22lr on the other hand is much harder to find.

There's always going to be the cheap Chinese stuff...and knowing the Chinese... They will just hire some more cheap labour to produce more cheap ammo.
