Yep, I would like to have ### with that heavy awesome thing.
What catches my eye was the optic setup on that rifle.
I can see the rail with the quick detach riser, but does anyone know what the scope is? (Hensoldt maybe?)
I really like the look, & how it just clears the rear sight.

AEB would be better able to speak of this but as I remember it this is non-restricted and a conversion that he did from a restricted carbine. There are no retail commercially available 18.5" carbine length handguard SAN available at this time AFAIK.

It is non-restricted, he had Herron Arms convert it for him.

Its pretty damn close but it could be a little lower. On the 2 setting the base of the sight obscures a lot of the front sight but on the red 3 it's fine.

Thanks Keith! Very clean, compact setup you have there. I'm trying to figure-out which optic I'm going to put on my Black Special with B&T rail so I appreciate pics like this. Nice one!

In that set up the front site post interferes with the dot, which doesn't really matter as your free eye pics up the target anyhow. that's the beauty of the red dot. That hensoldt sits low enough on the rail that you can still get a good cheek weld on the stock. diopter does need to be open to make use of the sight. tactical imports has a great sale on those military spec'd sites. $500 instead of $800. very good optic for the money.
