I'm looking to purchase one second hand online, but the seller isn't 100% sure whether it's the newer anodized finish or the older one's that were just painted. Does anyone know how to check this? Serial number, or any other markings on it?

It IS the new version. Looks just like the ones we bought from Marstar, GREAT GUNS!

FYI, we paid $699 plus tax & shipping for them each. Would do so again IN A HEARTBEAT!

I don't think I'd try filling the oil can during battle lol

Yep. You walk to the nearest trash can, then use "hold over and release" technique - then you call One Shot and get a Vickers. Used this way the Chinese sling never disappoints.

Still the best buck for an AR easily. Mine competes with the big boys.
Throw sling in trash and turn it into a Magpul slut!

Yah, the manual is pure gold. I loved reading the first page to customers and having them laughing their asses off.

Damn! I just bought a new 10.5 from a sponser and it has the triangle with the CQ in it. I thought all the new ones were anodized?
