Anybody know what the deal is with Opticsplanet.ca? Looks like it is a US based company but do they ship rifle scopes to Canada?? Thought that was a big No-No?? Am I missing something here?? Thanks for the help in advance.
 
Thanks. That is exactly what I figured. Binos, spotting scopes, range finders can be used for Golfing and birdwatching. Anything rifle related other than reloading tools like dies, presses, ect is a NO-GO.

It is not impossible to ship riflescopes to Canada, but it is some trouble to learn the rules and do the paperwork to make it legal. The U.S. controls prohibit some scopes from being exported in any case, others may be allowed if the maker has licensed them to be exportable and the seller then bothers to do the paperwork for each sale out of the U.S. So even if it's allowed, a lot of retailers just say no because they can make enough sales at home.
