very interested would be very wiling to go on a preorder with deposit if avail. let me know! basically i want one!!

Similar fire control components to an AR-15. For Pete's sake please no one tell the RCMP this lol.

No last shot hold open is a big negative for me and I'm not crazy about the 1:9 twist. Also need to know if the charging handle is reciprocating or not.

The Canadian version will have a revamped fire control I believe.

You just did.
Not that it is relevant. It is not an AR variant, period.

It does, however, use a short stroke piston so perhaps it is an SVT-40 variant???

last round hold open is not a problem for me. Maybe for competition purposes, but with practice I imagine you could get quick at reloading with this rifle. An affordable black rifle will sell like crazy! It is nice to see!

Might have to get one! :D

I'm sure in the 6 months the RCMP take to inspect and classify a new firearm, they would have found this out even if I didn't say it. I did get that info from the MAC video a few posts above mine, after all. I agree it is factually irrelevant but on ... whatever the RCMP uses to classify guns (looks? drawing class out of a hat?), they might factor it in. The GSG "MP5" was deemed prohib pretty much due to looks so I'm hopeful but pessimistic.

This is the first I've heard of this and definitely a deal breaker for me. I thought last shot hold open was pretty standard for centre fire rifles by now.

I got both the "AR-like" trigger grouping and the no hold bolt open from the Military Arms Channel YouTube vid someone posted above. They did say they are open to feedback and are willing/able to update a few things so hopefully they listen to the feedback here.
