Polish MSBS 5.56 NATO Radon

WOW, I would totally be all over spending thousands of bux on a un tested, un proven, :eek:POLISH:eek: rifle:rolleyes:

It looks pretty cool I'll admit that, but let's let them issue it to some troops and work out the kinks that come around in any new platform, before we go jerking off to it at night:p;)

I'm curious to see where the program goes in the next few years. Perhaps it will be revolutionary, perhaps a flop, only time will tell.

I did notice a few things though:

On the first pic, it looks like the grip is part of the lower, maybe my eyes playing tricks on me but that seems silly.

Also the bull-pup version is not just a conversion, it's a completely different stock, probably slightly altered internals also, really might make a difference in performance and reliability between the two.

While I love seeing TI bring in whatever they can, let's hope it's not a bunch of cheap "under $1000" rifle's. Don't get me wrong, I like saving my pennies as much as the next guy, but $1000 doesn't buy you much of a rifle for a reason, anything that cheap is usually (not always) cheap for a reason... I understand that they have to import rifles for the "cheap" crowd too:p, but I think they should focus on bringing in quality platforms, as opposed to cheap under $1000 ones:p I'm waiting on the 542;)

Whats wrong with Polish firearms?

Had a chance to handle this:

And shot this, original vis 35 Radom

I'm in, Non Restricted/5.56/STANAG Mags!

Same, but I hope (maybe it becoming a service rifle) It will be (at least) a little cheeper than $2500. $2000 would (all prices are my standard) be "A bit high, but OK!". $1500 "Shweet!". $1000 (ya right!) "TAKE MY MONEY!! I may be back tomorrow for another one."

PS: It is a little ugly, but that might (literally) be smoothed out by the retail production phase.

That receiver is 1 unit that works with both a bullpup stock and a standard stock (it's a little hard to see at first) if the literature is correct.

In that case the bullpup stock would most definitely get classed prohib, however the full rifle would be okay to go.

Would be very interested in this thing, much "thinner" than the Beretta, more in line with the original ACR/Masada. Nice durable looking design!

Nice gun, just sent a email to my friend that is a Polish Commando asking him if they have been issued any as of now?

Knowing polish reality it will be quite cheap .

The other thing is import taxes and importer's fees.

Really? Why even post 'How Much?' or... " Take my money' pft....

It's been stated that we won;t see anything until 2015 at least.

Unless you win Lotto Max. And want to custom order 10,000 Rifles. We won;t see these anytime soon
\

Of course, if I did win..... I would buy these for us :) You can take that too the Bank. $999 Shipped taxes in.

I just got a email back from my friend and he tells me he doesn't believe they will get them in the end. Says they are just a reworked Beryl and there are better guns out there? Said the gun is still in the testing stage.

Mind you this guy is a H&K 416 man and time will tell as he used it in Afghanastan and thought it was very good.

Just got another email and he said tests are done and some units will get them in 2014. Being a commando I think they may get a different gun for combat. I know they did us H&K in Afganastan during his two tours.
