Hello all, I am having a problem with my grizzy which i am hoping someone else has experienced and maybe knows a fix!

It started jamming the round at the loading gate / cartridge lifter, When i cycle the action the gate seems to stop the round from coming out of the magazine its just catching the bottom of the round. if i put just a little bit of pressure downwards on the loading gate , it pops the round out.

ive cleaned the magazine and installed the s and j no jam follower.

Just getting frustrated,

Thanks

These guns have a quality control issue.... I would bet good money one or both of your shell latches aren't staked as they should be.

I would bet good money it's a shell latch.... If you don't think it is send it back to Canada ammo (the importer) and have them look at it.

Not sure what issues your talking about mine runs flawlessly. It's not a major fan of the Walmart value pack junk but still runs it no problem all you need to do is make sure you have your purse set down and pump it hard.

Do you even know what a shell latch is? It doesn't matter how hard you pump.

I'm just saying you stating theses have quality control issues is a little off. Theres guys that have put 1000's of rounds threw them with no problems so there not junk

It's well known that Chinese guns have quality control issues.... Most like yours are good to go while others may need minor tweaks and a few are full on lemons! That's why it's good to buy from a solid dealer who stands behind their product!
Your comments shows your lack of knowledge on the subject and your attitude your lack of experience.

O bow to the great experienced and knowledgable. Mabey one day I will know as much as you.

WMD,
You clearly state that your gun doesn't work as it should with value pack stuff... My REMINGTONS all run 100%. It seems to me that you're unfamiliar with the issues that many of these guns have...

To the O.P,
Pull the trigger group out of your gun. If th shell latche(s) fall out or are loose then that is your issue... Re-stake them with a screw driver or punch. It's sounding more and more like that is your issue. Cheers!

yup.

Op, disassemble and remove bolt. Feel and look at shell latches and see if they wiggle in the slots. They should be peened in

my "shell latches" havnt been staked for some time now and its not a big deal. the two pins that hold the trigger assembly in hold them in place and the trigger assembly holds them tight to the recever. did the problem start after cleaning it? are both shell latches in the gun?

Love my 12.5 Grizzly, but I did have to have my latches replaced (by Casey, god of 870), so there is some truth to the comments re QC. YMMV
