ok ive got a few pistols, and ya they would qualify if i changed a few things on the glock but i want a new pistol for ipsc and need some help of what to look for.
right now i have a gen4 glock 17 9mm, but i have a polished trigger job and a 3.5 connector. its probably got a 5-7lb pull now.
sig p226 9mm and a sig p220 which was a .22lr but have the 45 conversion.
so looks like non of what i have really qualify to be used except the p226, but thats also out because i have hogue grips on it.
i was thinking of getting another glock 17, but then i started considering the glock 22 and the m&p 9 or 40.
any suggestions as to what to buy? i was planing on the cz shadow but on the ipsc list it is not approved..
does the caliber i shoot (9mm vs 40 vs .45) make any difference in scoring?
what can be modified on a pistol and keep in the production class? like can i polish the internals to get rid of crunchy trigger? can i put a different trigger connector in? i heard any grip tape is a no no.
ill move onto what belt, holster and mag holder after i choose the pistol.
any directions appreciated.
