Where to buy Smith & Alexander 1911 magwells in Canada ?

The title says it all...

Please don't suggest Brownells, as they cancelled my order yesterday because S&A had not registered with the State Department.

I think I can order directly from S&A (haven't called yet), but just wondered if their magwells were available in Canada.

I tried ordering direct and the nice lady told me they don't sell to Canada. I ended up with Ed Brown 2 piece.

Dlask is selling a really nice magwell. I just put one on my Kimber Pro Carry. Better product than the STI's I put on my Trogans. The MSH keys onto the magwell then they are secured with a screw. No chance of twisting or getting off alignment.

That bites... The S&A website references selling to Canada. I wonder if their policies have changed.

I like the S&A design because it extends the MSH down further which works well for larger hands.

The fact that S&A has not registered as an exporter means that S&A is not allowed to export it's products - in short, you can't get one, it's actually illegal to export one from the US.

Thanks! Are those grips custom fit for the Dlask magwell? Looks like they were made for each other.

I was going to use my stndard bevelled grips for now (I have several sets). Just wondering how that would look...

Those are Ergo XTG square cut grips. I bought a set of tapered ones from OST but the taper didn't look good with the magwell.

FYI... Gunnar at Armco does have some blued S&A magwells, but no "slim" models which is what I was looking for.
