some species of domestic sheep do not have horns that mimic those of full curl sheep........google sheep images and goat images and have a look for yourself.

Obviously there are some farm fields around the spot you found this....have a look out in the fields and see whats around for livestock, its unlikely but not unrealistic that there is a goat farm anywhere close...but sheep on the other hand...........
