Sub $500, 9mm recommendations for 1st pistol?

If you qualify for the Glock IOP program (criteria available on the Police Ordnance website) then their current prices for Glock pistols brand new is $504 plus tax and shipping I believe.

You are so funny....many Asian criminals use Norincos to have their countries in big headage, looks like you never fired a real gun!

Well since all the asian criminals are using them( and we all know how smart low life pieces of sh** they are) Ill just go right out and buy one then.( I hope the Norincos shoots their wang off!)

its out, search for dark international

Yes, I remember seeing them, some time ago(thanks for the reminder), but I was turned off by the double stack.
Says they're special made for Dark, so I'm assuming the overall frame width is to accomidate a 10 shot clip only,
seeing how it can't be imported to the US.
So, a ten shot 45 with a grip width less(presumably) than that of a Para, sounds good, now.
But a Norinco at a going price of $650, unbelievable!

Ruger SR9 or a used CZ 75. I know you probably heard this a million times but a 22 makes for a good first pistol.

get a used Glock...

used glock for $500... where? not on the ee here...

ive never seen the sr9 in person but i thought about getting one last summer. epps had them on sale i think for $450.
ill probably get the sr9 eventually. i was also looking at the m&p 9 or 40.
but ill be getting another glock first.

Wow, 1 question and 6 pages later. Is there anything that beats shopping for a new firearm? Thanks for the recommendations folks! I'm applying for membership at Abbotsford Fish and Game and hope to get out to a pistol night soon, so i can check out a few different pieces.

Lot's of good pistol guys at Abbie, I'm sure they'll be very helpful - I own a Norc in 45 and an M&P9, both work very nicely but the M&P gets the nod from me by a score of 33,000 to 6,000 (rounds, that is)
