...So what's the loudest, most obnoxious, muzzle brake available? I am a firm believer in giving my guns 'character,' and so I embark on a seemingly benign build.
Except, it has to be a total ####.
What better way to have it stand out! It came across to me naturally as a friend always seems to snag a bench on my left side ~ where he knows the .22 brass will fly through the netting, if barrier there is... As such, I believe a percussion instrument is in order, when he has to actually aim at a target - while getting slapped. :dancingbanana:

Anyone feel my plight? Cheers!

SEI 5/8 adaptor and an NEA Crusader. If an X39 Crusader on an 18.5" 858 is any indication, I can assure you success at b*tch slapping buddy from across the bench. They direct the gas and blast rearward and are very effecient. Doesnt get much more dickanus than that.
 
Anything really. I've stood next to my buddy firing his with the stock brake. I was shooting pistol and the concussion felt like I was being punched in the chest.

If he gets really obnoxious, blast off 5 rounds as fast as you can. He should learn his lesson after that.
 
I got an fsc 30 trought questar and put it on the smith adaptor.

Did not try it yet but it look badass.

Better than the muzzle blast volume, get high on the slap coming back from a 8" steel gong at 200 meters while you are shooting prone unsupported again,and again, and...........;);)
 
A work in progress. Maybe not the most obnoxious/loudest OP, but certainly effective, (it's been tested in the steel version) and one of the lightest which is why I plan to build it out.

Nice looking to be sure. I have already obtained a sight mount on the gas block; otherwise that brake certainly has that alliance armament ak in .460 appeal. (Nice).

Also does that "op rod" guide a part of the black feather system, or a piece that can just be used independently? Also "relief" cut on the op rod guide, is misspelled on the second last paragraph. I know I make dumb errors all the time but, as a buisnessman, you may not want it... ;)
