Where to buy a ruger no 1 45/70 in stainless?

If you have your heart set on a new one, you had better start searching hard. Ruger will only be doing select cartridges in select models, different ones each year. It may be quite a few years before we see a stainless #1 45/70.

The 45-70 was already done in a #1.I have one here.DAN>>>

I am aware of that, and that is why I recommended that if the OP was looking for a NEW one he better start calling every retailer in Canada now.

Ruger is unlikely to build any more stainless #1 45/70 rifles any time soon.... but they may build some next year; no one knows.
 
Wow thank you very much guys. Especially kilo :). I was pointed to an unfired ruger 1 in 45-70, stainless. I Got the rifle for 850 including shipping. I am very happy. Theres only a few blemishes on it. I was looking at the EE and used ones in blued go for minimum 950 on the exchange.

Im am excited :)

These are the blemishes. From being in a safe for 10+ years. D you guys know id its easy to get out?
