I wish it would stay at 100$ but most of the time I end up spending more than 200 anyway
whats the purchase amount minimum for free shipping?

Pretty easy to spend $200 with canam. At least when product is in stock...
Gives me a great excuse to double my spending on gun stuff.
Not hard to spend 200 bucks on ammo alone.
I had to use alot of restraint, not to go for that Ruger/1000rd. deal, that and the fact that I'm broke!
I know what you mean - it has been almost impossible for me to resist the SIG 1911 Scoprion/1000rd deal, if I didn't already have a Springfield XD .45 Tactical I would be all over it.
That and a wife who will kill me if another pistol shows up at the door.

I've dealt with Can Am a few times now, very pleased with their service. I was just about to place an order when I saw the minimum amount had changed. Sorry fellas, the free shipping I like, but I could not justify spending another $100 for it.

don't blame them for rising the limit, too many people ask for price match from vendors who price their product just low enough to equal the cost of shipping.
Not overly impressed with this.
Placed the order on the 8th, went through the electric checkout with it indicating $0 shipping and placed my order.
Get a receipt in my email indicating $0 shipping but the subtotal is magically $15 higher than it should be.
Contact them immediately, get the following response:
"There was a glitch in the system displaying the wrong total as it was adding shipping into the pre-subtotal when it wasn't supposed to. I can assure you that you were charged the correct amount as you will see on your CC statement and the final invoice that will come with the order."
Figure OK, the computer glitched and added shipping when it shouldn't have but my credit card won't be charged that so all is ok. Fast forward enough time to review my credit card, the amount they assured me would not be charged was charged.
I complain again and only then am I informed that the shipping cap moved from $100 to $200. I later find out that they hadn't shipped my order until yesterday so at any time up until now could have canceled the order with no cost to anyone.
For fun I checked my visa online and see that they had corrected the total billed. Yesterday they charged me an additional $1.80, tax on the $15 I guess.
Now I am sitting at the computer with the unopened box that showed up this morning debating slapping a return to sender tag over my address because I am really quite pissed at how my order was handled.
Just for fun how about you put my next order (#3955083) on hold until this one is resolved. Or better yet just cancel it, I will re-place it if I feel like it.

You shouldn't be impressed. This thread and the site clearly states free shipping moved to $200. You clearly managed to find this thread but NOT read it, NOT impressed.
I found this thread after the issue when I went searching their forum for an announcement of the change.
I also have never seen an announcement on their site, simply the same "Free shipping on orders over $___" box with truck graphic with 100 replaced with 200. And I didn't even think to look for that until after they told me the limit had been raised, because their own shipping calculator at checkout indicated $0 - Free shipping for my $100+ order.
So if you are not impressed burnaby, that is just fine. I really don't care.

I do however wish that you also delete my PAL and shipping info from your server.
