Magpul BAD Lever and Trigger Locks...

Mag well lock.

I have my lock rotated, but I feel like if I were to be stopped, and the weapon checked, it might be deemed unsafe, as there is a gap between the lock body and the lower which, theoretically, one could still access the trigger...

Maybe I just need to play with it a bit more...

Mind posting a pic of how you lock yours up, Mechanic and dude?

The lock might not move, but that could be deemed an "unsecured trigger" if an object could be inserted into the opening & successfully depressed the trigger.

jeebus. Sometimes we are our own worst enemies. The object that "could be" inserted into that space would be better off used to pop the trigger lock off completely. I have been inspected twice with this set up on a road side check stop and it has never been an issue.

pull the trigger and lock the trigger to the back I guess if it is a concern for you.

My trigger lock is sitting in the "normal" position on my AR with BAD lever. I just pushed the lever UP towards the receiver and the trigger lock fits. No issues for two years.

Bad levers were a solution to a problem that never existed, and created new ones. At least they got the name right.
