For all you #4 serial # gurus. I picked up a Mk1 barreled action the other day. It's in pretty rough shape but I snagged it for $20 and thought it might at least make a good paper weight. Here's the thing
Its stamped #4 Mk1, not penciled. serial E28644A I thought the "E" would make it a BSA Shirley but the #s seem to be Faz. The "A" should mean non interchangable parts used
Then the hard part. The receiver ring has a very nice C Broad Arrow stamped on the right side. Barrel # matchs the action also.
So what is it and why the LB stamp
