Dizzy, you lucky guy.
I have been in touch with Jochen Anschutz and have spoken to Peter Krause. Anschutz make NO more repeaters in 54 actions except for the hunting line.... Really sad though.
Maybe someone gets tired of his 1907R and then I can get one. LOL.

I also bought one of the few remaining 1907Rs. They are indeed a very rare bird - I understand that less than 50 were manufactured?
If you're looking for a repeater, keep an eye out for a used Anshutz 54.18 MSR. When I heard they were being discontinued, I bought 4 of them.
Another good choice if you don't mind a sporter type rifle is the Remington 40X. They can compete with many match rifles but are also very rare.

Mine was one from one of the last 10 actions Anschuz had. I didn't care for the rifle so I sold it I don't keep rifles for colletability I keep them for accuracy. It was indeed accurate, by my old suhl outshot it. If I still had it I'd sell it to you in heartbeat. Stubble has the only other I have ever seen for sale. In fact most Annie 'experts' didn't know annie even made a Match 54 repeater.

I bought it from an elderly gentleman in California and arranged to have it shipped to me. He had 3 of them and the one I purchased was NIB unfired since the it was tested at the Remington Custom Shop. It came with factory rings, sling, box, soft case and all papers. I should have bought the second one he was selling as they have gone up considerably in value since I bought mine a while back.

I spoke to Jochen on Monday but he does not even have spare parts left to put one together for me. He says they struggled to sell (obviously relative to other models) hence the reason to discontinue all their repeaters except for their hunting line.
It sucks to want something you can't find.....
