Your favourite Milsurp rifle

Martini Henry's - a couple of Canadian ones (Mk.I & Mk.III), the rest are British from Indian, Afghan & Nepalese service.

I'd rather go into battle with a M1917 then any other Enfield.
My first rifle was a bubba #4, what a terrible rifle... When it wasn't jamming it shot 8" to 12" groups at 100 yards.
My Aussie brother in law now has it down under to shoot feral critters with.

Hard to pick just one.
I love the SKS and Mosin.
I sold my Swedes but they are at the top of the list as well.

There's another for the Swiss guns!! I need me one!! I must say also that I LIKE my SKS but I'll never put the word LOVE in the same sentence as SKS.

I started the thread choosing my M1917 Enfield as my favourite milsurp. However my No4 Mk1 has taken it's place (And the eddystone is long gone). The No4 just handles like a dream and is accurate as all get out. However in my opinion it needs to be in original configuration. Sportered and bubbaed rifles are not the same.

Hands down, my favorite is my '54 No4 Mk2. Brand new (recently unwrapped!), phenomenal shooter and the ultimate in reliability. Next up is a Sportered Eddystone I just acquired. I know it is a shooter from the previous owner and I also know that I will be putting it through it's paces shortly too. I examined the barrel. Very little wear in the rifling - looking forward to it.

Mine is my 1950 Long Branch 7.62 DCRA Lee Enfield target rifle. most likely one of a kind, and its mine.

For the rarity and accuracy of it, my newly acquired A.G Parker '43 longbranch target rifle SHOULD be my favorite milsurp. I haven't shot it enough to say it's my favorite though! Seeing the DCRA above make me really want some warmer weather.

Once the weather warms up and I can do a comparison shoot and then I may have a new favorite.
