Just curious if Norinco is making 9mm AR's right now. My local shop has a 10.5" Nork in .223 and after handling it tonight, I feel like it would be awesome if it was in 9mm and for the same price, since a 9mm colt is going for 2500+. Is Norinco making 9mm AR's at the moment and/or can we get them here?

Not as far as I know, but you can convert one to 9mm.

Typically you would need an upper reciever, magwell, hammer and buffer.

This is where I would actually consider buying a norc if they offered a nice short 7.5-10.5 inch 9mm AR. Plus I know everyone is dying for 9mm mags.

Same here. Although they seem decent, I probably wouldn't go with a .223 Norinco AR. However, at that price, I would certainly be interested in a short one in 9mm.

I don't suppose there is any way to get in touch with them and suggest this? I'm thinking thats unlikely.

I would be all over one in 9mm for the wife. She'd love something in 10" or less (no #### jokes either lol). Definetly with a pinned in mag well.

Couldn't be that hard for them to fire up, could it???

There must be someone on this forum that can influence the importer/manufacturer, count me in for a Norc in 9mm!

What mags do the Norincos use?
Most use an UZI style mag.
A friend of mine has 5/50 rd UZI mag the thing must be more then a foot long.
If they bring in the 9mm I have first dibs on it.

I thought you could not take a nork into the states.
