EE handgun prices are always entertaining but I also get amused by some of the angles like posting a high price and say "this pistol will just be available this weekend only" or, people who pretend that they don't need the money and say "if it doesn't sell soon at this price I will just put it back in my safe" meanwhile, they BTT the post 7 times LoL.

Just wondering what the most memorable sales pitches were that you've seen on EE.

Love the ones that list the gun as "LIKE BNIB". After 1 single round has gone down down the pipe it's no longer qualifies anywhere near being BNIB.
It's like saying I only tagged her once, so she's almost a virgin......

I always get a kick out of a well used item that is selling for more than the price of it new.

Really? Come on guys!

For example, Ttere is a guy selling some scopes on the EE that are priced more than the new . . .

WOW! Such a DEAL!!!

A second one is available for this weekend only, if I don't get what I'm looking for back in the safe it goes.

Then it's bumped a million times! LOL

I have got some great deals of the EE, but run into exactly what you guys are talking about as well. I always try and post for what I think is a good price and normally will quickly reduce if it does not sell. That is unless I am not 100% I want to sell (usually to raise funds for another purchase). The ads that I find funny are the ones where a used gun costs more than new one. I think sometimes people buy at high prices thinking that is the price across the whole country and they never go on sale.

Anyways, anything fired outside of the factory is not new, BNIB or the like, it is used. I also hate the term 'minty'.
I also think it is funny when people go on a Retailers spot and ask them to bring something in cheap. "can you get any ...., I would be in for a case if you sell it below your cost.".

Best is "BNIB only fired 5 times" or anything saying how it's "brand new" and also "only shot XX amount of times" advertising the same item.

remington rifles for over 1000.oo that were on clearance for 749.oo after remington dropped them from production...............

and one more time...........followed by eleventeen btt's...........

shoots moa all day everyday anyday with cheap winchester white box..................

Then there's the dicks and Losers that are making up their own private sale regulations as they go along and demand that you fax them a copy of your drivers license and PAL or they won't sell you their pistol. (Some retailers ask this of you too )

My favourite one was when the seller gave a detailed listing of what was paid for the gun, followed by, "My loss is your gain." The only trouble was that I could go and buy the exact same thing for less money at a local gun shop.
