I present to you my best attempt to copy the VSS Vintorez. AS Val build is in the works as well. POSP scope is in the mail. It should finish it off nicely. Thanks to Dmitri for the help and inspiration.

Needs a black pistol grip and some modifications to the stock.

The barrel shroud was custom made out of 1.5" stainless steel pipe. I will get some pictures of it disassembled in the next day or two.

It holds zero perfectly. I have tested it out extensively!!! I love the railed dust cover its just expensive.

I am curious about the differences between the Zahal/Corwin Arms railed dust cover and the Gunexpert one.
They look very different in pictures, but I am not certain exactly the pros/cons of each.
Can you, or other owners, maybe post some closer pics of the screws and how it's held to the receiver please??

Best 600$ spent ever, thanks to SFRC. So from rear: ace AKFX short stock, stormwerkz adapter, grip from VZ58rifle com, BC tactical handguard, magpul AFG1 grip, and last but not least ak74 style brake for vz 58 (ask Rick911 next post).
