Hi guys:

I'd like to do the bolt pinning mod and get the hole in the right spot.
Rimfire Central has a post with some hints but no dimensions.

a) Can anyone point me to a drawing or sketch that shows where to drill the hole?
b) Failing that, if somebody has a precision aftermarket firing pin not yet installed, I'd appreciate a measurement of its height near the firing end.

Thanks

I can take pictures of mine. I have measured everything except the hole depth.
I've had a few beers and I'm using a standard Vern.

Hole center is .100 from the top of the Bolt and .237 from the Bolt face.
The Hole is .09375(3/32).
my Pin is a #42 Drill Rod that's .330 long.
The Hole is about .025 deeper than the Pins length.

One of My Pins end is cut on an Angle so, That's as close as my Verns get.

Let me know if you want anymore detailed Pics

Thanks Wham-O.
That Digimatic looks pretty old, I don't remember when they came out with the first one but I've never seen one that colour.

lol....I got them brand new in the late 80's
They've seen a lot of miles and just keep on ticking. ;)
Good luck with the project.....
