.22lr of various makes would probably be a good one. Savage/CZ/Marlin/Ruger etc. etc. Everyone needs a 22lr regardless of shooting experience so unlike the centerfire you don't need 20 guns of the same model to cover your bases.

Ok apparently one cannot edit in this thread for whatever reason. I'll just add on to my last post that Ruger MK III pistols and Buckmarks would also be a solid addition to any website. Granted Ruger might be hard to get nowadays...
