Any chance of getting in on some of the new offerings from Leapers/UTG?

Primarily I'm on a quest to find a way to mount a Bushnell TRS-25 in a QD setup and found this

I see nothing like it (and especially nothing like it in the price range) available in Canada. Any chance of getting these and some of the other cool toys they sell?

Somebody on this site should carry a bunch of this stuff. Leapers, UTG and GG&G. They all make some very interesting firearm related goodies. How about it retailers?
 
I'm sure you can find it on AirsoftCanada or something like that.

Not many retailers like to bring in garbage. For the love of all things holy, please don't tell me it's not.

GG&G is not garbage. Wolverine used to carry the GG&G line.

Are you...Are you arguing with yourself? Haha.

UTG seems to be fairly good from my limited experience - so far, a bipod (seriously, $130 for a Harris, something that hold a rifle off the ground? My UTG does the same thing for $20, and it's holding up just fine)

Got a set of QD rings on the way for my rimfire - I figure even if they're not perfect, $17 for a set of QD rings is a great deal. Since shots will almost all be under 50m, even if they don't maintain POA perfectly, they'll still do the job. I'll report on them when they arrive.

I'd like to have the low-cost option for things like rimfires and anything else not requiring the best of the best. If someone brings in UTG QD risers (as linked above), they can have some of my money.

Some of it is sh!t. But then again it's good enough for some of us who do not have deep pockets. Every newbie starts out buying what they can afford at the moment and then upgrade.
 
4tkal: You can edit your post and remove that. Also, what's the legality of ordering weapon bits from the states? I know that weapons and scopes are a no-go, but can rails/rings/grips/etc be ordered?n I was under the impression that they couldn't.

The reason I put this in Can-Am's forum is that they carry a bunch of Leapers/UTG kit, which leads me to believe that they are a distributor. If they can get their hands on the stuff I'm looking for, they'll get my business. If they can't, I'll continue searching.

hey brokendownyota,
rails, grips, etc can all be shipped to Canada, but most companies can't be bothered with the paper work involved. The only restricted items seem to be scopes, red dots and lasers. Go figure!
If you find something that ################l has, canam can bring it in for you.

I have looked everywhere for a low profile QD riser like that. I just want something cheap to use on my trs-25 as well, but americans aren't allowed to ship them to us.
 
D&L in Langley carries a full line of Leapers/UTG product http://www.dlairgun.com/Mounts/Leapers/
And it really annoys me when I hear the 'XYZ is garbage' on these sites.
Have you tried any of their product Canucklhead?
My sons have the Leapers 4-16 http://leapers.com/prod_detail.php?...evel2=&itemno=SCP-U4164AORGW&status=&mtrack=m on their Marlin XT-22's. While it is a definite step below my $500 Hawke Tacktical Sidewinder my 11 year old is shooting 1.5" groups at 100m and it is a far cry above the Bushnell Rimfire scope the gun was kitted with.

For the life of me I can't find any real differences between it and the Voodoo Tactical bag I use that looks just about identical and was $225.

I'm getting that impression. D&L is the only Canadian retailer listed on the Leapers site and their response when I asked if they could special order, with a deposit and/or a minimum quantity, was "Sorry, no". That was the entire email.

If anyone has anything that'll do the job, let me know because this is just getting silly.
