Best Unrestricted 308 Black rifle?

FNAR = Black hunting rifle.

Exactly, we're comparing battle rifles with hunting rifles. I'd rather get a Browning Bar with pistol grip if i was going down that route. Ive heard the FNAR is a pita to clean and has a million parts, hard to get mags and little to no aftermarket parts.

Yah, but your arguing the XCR copied the looks of the scar, which is ridiculous. The xcr-m looks exactly like the XCR-L, which was designed 3 years before the SCAR.

I don't have a springfield match, I just meant the platform cannot be beat for a 308 black rifle. M14 M1a M305 same diff.

Pretty much. The Polytech has nothing to do norinco quality.
I have a fiberglass Choate folder a very good base, Mark IV steel rings, leupold LR Tacticle scope and good reloads. I also back my sizer die about 1/16" to help accuracy.

i think the original XCR-l looks nothing like the Scar16, but i do think Robinson arms re-designed the XCR to look like the Scar16 as the Scar was destroying the XCR in the U.S. market...

We should have a match of NON-restricted 308 Para-Military rifles and see which one is the best rifle. I think I'll organize one a at my club next summer...
