.410 Lee enfield conversion?

So I was just reading up about some .410 Lee enfields and was wondering what is involved in this? Can one simply ream out bore/chamber to .410 or does it require a barrel replacement and some additional modification to the bolt face/feed path? I have an old No. 4 that I'd like to do this too as it's life as a rifle has been over for some time.

Barrel reamed, rechambered.
The military conversions were single shot.
It would be easier to retrofit a .410 shotgun barrel.

or just buy a snigle shot H&R shotgun(can be had for around $180+ tax new) and not bubba a military gun these is also bolt action .410's that have a mag of sorts normal is a 2 round box mag

But everybody has a .410 break action single shot...some people like to think outside the box! If the barrel is long enough on the Enfield you can cut it back and depending on muzzle o.d. (and the amount of cash you want to spend) you can use that cut-off section of barrel to make a set of external screw on chokes for the gun!

Lol! Now there is an idea.

Really its because I have a gun sitting here that will group around 5-10' @100m(yes...feet) so it's pretty much a shotgun as it is. It's also been sporterized and bubbad etc etc. I think the most valuable part on it is the magazine which should fetch $40 nowdays. So I figure I might as well try and do something useful with it.
 
Made by Ishapore Arsenal in India for prison guards, etc. No 1 Mk 111 Lee-Enfield 303. Magazine is blocked a a piece of wood.
Bead front sight, no rear sight. Quite common, I had one, used to shoot 410 slugs in it.
