New Varmint Rifle... Pics

I have been looking for a varmint/taget rifle and finally decided on this.

Remington 700 VS SF II in 22-250, I also ordered a Viper Vortex PST 6-24x50 SFP.

Im waiting for the scope to arrive and looking for mounting suggestions, any thoughts.

I've got my Viper mounted on my 700 SPS varmint with Vortex rings, and a weaver 1 piece SA base. Works, and looks awesome!

large end of the scope should be at the shooters eye to simulate long range shooting situations.........

I am wondering about ring height, I'm thinking it will be Warne rings and base or Vortex rings

EGW rail and some target rings, leupolds, vortex, whichever I like the look of I guess

I had one of those, accurate rifles! I had a 4.5-14x40 Vx3 long range on it in Talley lightweights. I'd go with Talley LW's myself unless you prefer the picatinny rail style mounts

Mounting suggestions...go low! My VSSF II has a 50mm objective scope on a 0 MOA base and Leupold PRW LOW rings.

Very pretty gun IMO, and I'm not at all biased

Nice rifle! If it were me I would go with a Warne 20 MOA or Flat base with Leupold PRW Medium height rings.

Just picked up a warne 1 piece base, 0 moa. I'm gonna look in to the leupold PRW rings. Thanks for the suggestions.

I found Sail sporting goods in Vaughn, Ontario. It was the last one. I was actually looking for a XCR tactical long range but when I saw this one I had to buy it, I've heard lots of good things about this rifle, so I hope it shoots as good as it looks.
