Where to get a .22 fake supressor?

Tried to order it from Brownells. They sent me an email saying I need an export license and several forms because it is an ITAR controlled item. The lady at Brownells estimated 2-2&1/2 months for approval once they recieve my completed documents and application in the mail. For a $35 part, forget it. I'll try to find one up here.

I ordered a compensator for a 10/22, same email. Oh well. TC

Hmmm weird. Never had any issues like that. Essentially it's only a piece of metal with no real function other than aesthetics.

What about a 1/2 x 20 tpi? My barrel's from new zealand and that's what they thread them to down there.

All I can find is 1/2 x 28 tpi up here.

No BATF but I'm guessing it's still ITAR controlled.
And if Gemtech is not in that infamous list of manufacturer we can get them to export without paperworks it would be the same issue.
Or am I mistaken?

possibly you're right.

Unfortunately, not many options are available for us Canadians. I waited almost three months to get mine from the date I ordered it from Questar. You pay, and then you just wait. I think that may be your best option.
