There's a new LVSF in 223 on the EE.

I had one in 204. Hated the stock. A McMillan edge cured that. I was slinging 39gr bullets at 3700 fps with some 5 shot .5" groups.
I switched to a Tikka superlite 22-250 and am flinging 40gr bullets at 4100fps, some .500"groups with factory ammo. The rifle is fully 1/2lb lighter than the lvsf. The tikkas are not for everyone, but I have had stock and custom Remington 700s and off the shelf to shoot a handful of coyotes every year, I think it is every bit as good as the lvsf. I had a $300 xtreme trigger on the rem, and a $10 spring from YODAVE got me pretty close on the tikka.

I had one in 221 Rem Fireball and ended swapping out the stock cause I hate blind mags. Had the action trued and replaced the J-lock, titanium firing pin, set the barrel back and re-chambered the rifle to give it a match chamber. Sold it over 9 years ago when I was pursuing some other project that has long since left my hands. I wonder where it is today....
